CRS50 with Missy: Wade Hayes

During this year's Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, Tennessee, I had the amazing experience of having several Valentines. With CRS taking place on Valentine's Day, I had to do something special for everyone who shared part of their special day with us, so I decorated the interview booth and supplied it with a lot of candy.

Wade Hayes was quick to point out that when we were finished with our conversation that he would be snatching some Reeses of the table. Little did he know at the time, I had already packed him a "to go" bag of his favorite candy.

Having just been on the Country Music Cruise with many other artists such as Patty Lovelace, T.G. Sheppard, Shenandoah, and The Oak Ridge Boys just to name a few, Hayes talked about what it was like to take part in such a fun experience along with sharing some fun stories about friends such as Johnny Lee that will make you laugh.

Being a Newlywed, Hayes' eyes lit up with excitement as he spoke about his new bride Lea. With an extremely busy schedule herself, I know that being on the Country Music Cruise had to be a much-needed experience for the newly married couple.

As we continued our fun conversation, Hayes explained how his new single "Who Saved Who" was written and exactly why it was later released as a single. Be sure to watch our entire conversation for all the details and to learn a little bit more about the inspiration behind the song, his dog Jack.

Please follow Hayes on social media if you are not already doing so and make sure you grab his latest release "Who Saved You". If you are an animal lover and have not yet heard this beautiful song, you may want to have some tissues handy. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
