Somewhere On A Beach with Laura: Kasey Tyndall

Kasey Tyndall, a North Carolina native, was the next artist that took some time hanging out with us during Carolin Country Music Festival (CCMF) in Myrtle Beach, SC.  We decided to just have a little "girl talk" and take a break from the heat in the RV provided by Campers Inn.

Tyndall began her musical journey in a unique way.  She won a contest held by a local radio station where she sang "We Were Us" on stage with Keith Urban during an appearance in her hometown.  Talk about a great way to start.  After this experience, she knew that she had to follow her dream and made the move to Nashville.  She even left the school where she was studying to be a nurse.

The decision to move to Music City seems to have paid off as she has co-written with Ashley McBryde, Neil Mason from The Cadillac Three and Driver Williams, from Eric Church's band.

Tyndall's current single, "Bar That's Open", which she wrote with McBryde and Lainey Wilson, is the lead single from her debut EP, Between Salvation & Survival

In addition to playing shows at CCMF, she also played during CMA Fest in Nashville, sharing the stage with Sara Evans and Cassadee Pope.

It appears there is a huge future ahead of Tyndall and no shortage of talent or personality to make that happen.  Make sure you check out our conversation to learn more about her journey to this point and make sure to get your copy of the current EP.

Tyndall has a packed schedule and welcomes the social media attention.  Make sure you check her out at her website as well as all social media platforms.

Kasey, thank you so much for taking the time to have some "girl talk" with me! We look forward to seeing you soon and talking more about all that you have going on.  You are truly an amazingly talented artist and we wish you the best! See you soon!

About Laura Lou

Laura Lou Journalist

Beginning about age 13, music always been my “safe place”, my “escape”, it became a part of who I am. My background includes being a photographer/journalist for newspapers, magazines and radio stations and more recently I have been an artist manager. What I continue to strive to learn is, what is important to the fans/readers? I find that the answer is always that they want to feel close to the artist they are supporting. The human contact that we all need is something that I want to deliver to anyone that happens to read something I write or see a photograph I shoot. It is important to me to provide that experience, because I am, after all, still always a “fan” and that giddy 13-year-old girl is simply amazed! I never imagined that my passion and love for music would lead me where I am today! I use the hashtag #iamtheluckiestgirliknow because I cannot believe how blessed I am! I’m excited to see “what happens next” and take you all along with me! This is going to be amazing…
