CRS 2018 with Missy: Patrick Darrah

During the 2018 Country Radio Seminar (CRS), Center Stage Magazine was able to conduct many interviews with artists. From the well-known country artists to brand new, independent artists, we had a blast speaking to them all. Some made us laugh uncontrollably, some made us cry, and others took us down a path we were not quite expecting. One thing that was true for each of these interviews was the appreciation demonstrated by each of these individual artists.

CRS is an event that gives these artists the opportunity to meet with radio executives, idols, industry peers, and media all in one location. Whether these artists are promoting a new single, EP, album, tour, or other projects, CRS is the perfect place to let fans know what they have coming up and where they can be found.

As I sat with country artist Patrick Darrah, we discussed his current single "I Never Got Over You" off his new album Northern Truth. Though the title leads you to believe that this single is another ballad stemmed from heartbreak, it turns out that it is not what you would expect. Darrah explains the twist he put on this song and why.

Continuing our conversation, Darrah shared the reason for the title of his album Northern Truth. Being from the true upstate New York, Darrah felt the title for his album was very fitting. He beamed with excitement as he shared that soon after CRS, he would be headed back home to perform his music and promote his new album.

After CRS was over, Center Stage Magazine scheduled Darrah to film an episode Track By Track to learn more about his music and the stories that came out of creating his album. Be sure to look for it on our YouTube channel after you are finished watching our conversation. Also, be sure to follow Darrah on social media and head over to his website to learn more about him and where you can find him next. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
