CMA Fest 2019 with Missy: Lewis Brice

Having the ability to form friendships with artists that I have been fortunate enough to interview is a true blessing. When I am able to share that blessing with someone else, it becomes that much more meaningful and special. Having the opportunity to introduce Lewis Brice to my good friend and her special needs son from California was something that I will never forget.

As we attended the annual Lewispalooza, a charity event benefiting Hope Song and hosted by Brice in Nashville to kick off CMA Fest 2019, it was clear that Brice wanted to make sure everyone had a good time. After Brice met Randa Pitts Perry and her young special needs son James, he showered them with love, posed for pictures, and made sure the two were happy and smiling.

Needless to say, I had a lot to talk to Brice about by the time he stepped into my booth during CMA Fest. What Brice was unaware of was that Jerrod Niemann and Charles Esten both showered my friends with love during Lewispalooza. I was so excited to share with him that Esten made sure that they got great pictures with him, while Jerrod Niemann chose to bless James with a ring that he took off his finger after his performance. I could immediately tell how much those small acts of kindness meant to Brice as well. Those small actions spoke volumes as to what Lewispalooza stands for, as well as the character of the artists who participate in this event.

As we continued our conversation, I spoke to Brice about his plans to continue hosting the successful annual event. Being that next year is a milestone year being the 10th anniversary of Lewispalooza, you can imagine that there will be a lot of surprises taking place. Watch our full conversation now to hear more from Brice on his future plans for Lewispalooza.

In addition to his charity and fundraising efforts to support Hope Song, Brice is working hard and releasing new music for fans and will not be slowing down any time soon. If you have not grabbed his latest single "Summer Time Vibes" be sure to grab it at one of the links provided. You are going to love it as you are immediately transported to a place of fun in the sun, and escape from negativity. Remember to follow Brice on social media and stay tuned for all the latest news and updates. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
