Tap Into Indie: The Ville Band
As we approached the end of day one at CMA Fest 2017, my eyes began to get heavy and the feeling of exhaustion began to set in. As I sat backstage at Alley Taps waiting for The Ville Band to finish their performance at the Heart Songs Corporation and Center Stage Magazine Independent Artist Showcase, I saw an energized crowd on the security footage dancing and having a good time.
Curious to know what they were dancing to, I asked The Ville Band during our conversation. I was surprised to hear that they were not just singing upbeat country songs. Throwing some late 90's Hip Hop into the mix with some Destiny's Child and R Kelly had the audience on their feet with pure excitement as they sang along.
Speaking with these amazing band members immediately awakened me and pulled me out of the fog I was slipping into. Thier energy alone was infectious. Their personalities meshed together to create what I can only describe as the perfect amount of fun, love, positivity, and genius. Combining their love for different music has enabled them to create a sound that is unique to who they are and the fans love it.
With their EP The Ville, Megan Buzzeo, James Gilley, Nate Wiles, and Kevin have poured their heart and soul into creating great music for their fans. Now, they are hard at work on their second EP, so make sure you stay tuned for more on that. I had so much fun chatting with this group and we could not have ended our first day at CMA Fest any better.
The Ville Band is very appreciative of their fans and Jill Pavel for the support they have been given thus far. Please show your support as well. Follow these guys on social media now, and be sure to grab your copy of The Ville today. You will be glad you did. ~Missy
