Conversations with Missy: Chyyanna Lee

Have you ever met someone so full of life and positive energy that you cannot help but smile in their presence? That is exactly how I felt when I met Chyyanna Lee. 

During my conversation with this uplifting country artist, I quickly realized why she is the "life of the party". From her upbeat songs to her spunky personality and determination for everyone to have a good time in her company, there is no doubt in my mind that Lee's fans have a great time during her live performances.

Finding myself sharing stories with her so easily, led our conversation down many paths including shopping, Boot Barn, addictions, Elvis, being nice to kids, name butchering, and so much more. I could seriously talk to Lee for hours. We laughed a lot during this extremely fun Skype call, so be sure to watch the entire video to get a good dose of some good, clean entertainment.

With her new single "Older Men and Whiskey", we joked about the reason for the song, as it was based on the advice given to her by her loving mother. Though she may have a different recollection of the actual advice given, we can all agree that in reality, mama always knows best and this song is absolutely amazing.

While finishing up work on her upcoming EP, Lee shared with us that one of her songs was written by the winner of The Voice Season 3, Cassadee Pope. Excitement immediately ensued. I know that this song is going to sound spectacular and I cannot wait to get ahold of it. As excited as I am about this upcoming masterpiece, the anticipation of Lee's next single is growing stronger by the day. This powerful female vocalist promises that the next release is going to be exciting, so like you, I want to hear it now.
