Conversations with Missy: Jeremy Harrell
I am often surprised by the connections I make during the conversations I have with such talented artists. Sometimes we connect over coffee, boy crushes, donuts, cereal, etc. During this particular conversation, I knew going in that Jeremy Harrell and I already had a strong connection and would definitely become fast friends.
Hearing Harrell’s voice for the first time, I was intrigued. I have always had an interest in singers with a raspy voice. My first thought while listening to Harrell was Kip Moore. He was different, though. His raspy voice was also very soft and alluring. After watching him perform his new single “Open Road”, I immediately wanted to hear more.
After doing more research, I came across his song “Remember When.” This song brought Harrell much success and gained him a lot of attention from many country music fans. Harrell even caught the attention of the Josie Show. Listen to our conversation now to hear Harrell discuss what it is like to be nominated for awards as an independent country artist.
During our conversation, Harrell was fun and was even able to ruffle my feathers a little. We laughed a lot, but I have to give him credit for making such a bold move. I must admit I got pretty defensive, but I think you will enjoy it. As you may have guessed, I refuse to give any spoilers. Be sure to listen to our full conversation for all the fun including thoughts on karaoke, Peanut Butter Captain Crunch, and his plans to release new music for his anxious fans.
“Open Road” is available for your immediate pleasure now. I have given you the link above, so click it to download this incredible song. Also, make sure that you are following Harrell on all social media. Do not forget to send him a shout out and maybe include your thoughts on what it was that ruffled my feathers. I am sure he would love to him from you and then tell me all about it. Until next time…~Missy
