Could the Fox News Christmas Tree Lighting Head to Music City in 2026?

Every December, Fox News Square in New York City transforms into a winter wonderland with the network’s iconic All-American Christmas Tree lighting, drawing huge crowds and millions of viewers nationwide.

But could country music’s capital steal the spotlight next year?

During a festive segment on Jesse Watters Primetime, The Big Weekend Show co-host Tomi Lahren, who now celebrates Christmas in Nashville, dropped a playful but intriguing hint about relocating the famous tree-lighting tradition. When Watters asked what a Nashville Christmas is all about, Lahren replied

:“A lot of lights, a lot of rhinestones, a lot of sparkle. You know, Riley lives in Nashville as well, so we would like to relocate this event to Nashville next year.

”Watters immediately jumped on the idea, turning to the camera with a grin: “What do you say, Fox? Are we going to Nashville next time?"

While no official plans have been announced (and Lahren’s comment came with her trademark playful tone), the exchange has already sparked chatter among viewers who love the idea of trading Midtown Manhattan’s chill for Lower Broadway’s honky-tonk glow.

Picture it: the giant tree glowing in front of the Ryman Auditorium, cowboy boots replacing parkas, and a star-studded lineup mixing country legends with Fox personalities under a blanket of Tennessee twinkling lights.

For now, the 2025 Fox News All-American Christmas Tree lighting remains scheduled for its traditional home in New York City, but if Tomi Lahren and Jesse Watters have anything to say about it, Music City might just be putting in a serious bid.

Nashville, start polishing those rhinestones; Fox might be coming to town.

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
