CRS 2020 with Missy: Andrew Hopson

During this year's Country Radio Seminar, we had the opportunity to sit and chat with emerging country artist, Andrew Hopson. Hopson seemed to be having a great experience with his first CRS appearance. From watching surprise guests The Cadillac Three perform, to sharing his new music with several media outlets, Hopson was definitely making the most of the three-day music event.

During our conversation, Hopson explained that his short term goal for his music career was to play more shows here in Nashville. What none of us realized at the time was that Music City would soon shut down, placing that goal on hold. Having already released his single "Paint The Town Redneck" at the time of our on-camera conversation, Hopson explained why he chose to record and release the song and also shared that he was gearing up to release his current single "Stronger Than That". I can only imagine how frustrating it is to not be able to perform these singles live in front of fans.

While speaking with Hopson, he shared his previous experience with the fire department. It was quite clear that Hopson truly loves to help others. Through music, Hopson will be able to continue in the role of helping others as we all know music has the power to heal.

While times may now seem uncertain for many during this national pandemic, one thing we know for sure is that the music will continue to live on and help heal. Music City will once again thrive and artists will once again take the stages to play for their loyal fans. For now, please follow Andrew Hopson on social media, check out his website for all the latest news and updates and be sure to grab his music to show your continued support. Until next time! ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
