CMA Fest 2019 with MIssy: Brennley Brown
When an even like CMA Fest comes to an end, there is always a plethora of emotions running through me. While I am relieved that I have made it through the four-day country music festival in one piece, I am saddened that the constant reunions with artists I have bonded with such as Cherie Oakley and ongoing performances are suddenly halted.
Having met Oakley while filming our live music show Center Stage Live At The 615 Hideaway, I was thrilled to be able to visit with her during CMA Fest. When I realized that she was my last interview inside the media room at Music City Center, I could not have been happier. I knew that we were going to have fun and end this event together on a high note.
As anticipated, my conversation with Oakley was a lot of fun and I was extremely excited that she brought me her new EP to listen to before its release. If you have heard her popular single "Work It" which is getting a lot of spins on radio and has been added to Radio Disney Country, then you already know that Oakley has amazing vocals. If you were a fan of Oakley while she was on The Voice, then you are even more familiar with the talent that is showcased beautifully on her debut EP. I am absolutely obsessed with her voice and ability to make me feel.
Join Center Stage Magazine as we continue to follow Oakley on her musical journey. Follow her on social media now. Check out her website for all the latest news and updates and watch our full conversation now to get to know the woman behind the remarkable voice. Be sure to add her latest single "Little Girl" along with fan-favorite "Work It" to your current playlist and as always, remember to share her pages with your friends. They will love you for it. ~Missy
