Whether you are a new country artist or a well-seasoned country artist, one thing can be said about the music industry, it is brutal. Thankfully for rising female country artist JoLivi, she has the support of many other female artists in town within the Song Suffragettes.

Watching JoLivi talk about this amazing organization of female artists, it was easy to see her gratitude for having them by her side. Welling up with emotion as she spoke about the support she has received from these magnificent ladies was touching. It is within these priceless moments that I feel truly blessed. Sharing her journey and emotions with someone she has just met completely left a long-lasting impression on me. Watch our conversation now to witness the beautiful moment we were able to share.

As we continued our conversation at this year's Country Radio Seminar, JoLivi explained the similarities between the music she grew up with in Hawaii, versus country music in Nashville.  Crediting her Grandfather for her love of music, JoLivi was all smiles as she shared a story about watching him play when she was just 3 years old. Being enamored by music at such an early age, it did not take long for her to realize that she herself had the gift of a beautiful voice.

Do yourself a favor and get to know JoLivi even more. Follow her on social media, check out her website, watch her music video for Vinyl, and be sure to download all of her music now. You will not be sorry. Her latest release "Better" also features Johnny Garcia. This is a song you need to hear. JoLivi is definitely an artist to keep your eyes on for 2019. I have no doubt that you will be seeing a lot more of this extremely talented female artist. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
