CRS50 with Missy: Queeva

While spending my Valentine's Day at this year's Country Radio Seminar, I was able to sit down with rising female country star Queeva to talk about her brand new single "How Do You Know" and more.

Queeva, like many other young female vocalists, is living out her dream here in Music City. Queeva, however,  has a unique upbringing that has broadened her view in life and given her uncommon life experiences. For one, the Ireland influence within her household has left friends questioning what language her mother was speaking during their visits with the young artist. Queeva laughed as she shared that her mom often speaks Gaelic as she was born and raised in Ireland. Though she herself was born here in the United States, Queeva has a huge connection to the Irish culture because her parents both spent many years in Ireland.

As we continued our conversation, Queeva shared her love for her dogs, family, friends, career, and more. While we discussed this year's CRS, Queeva smiled as she talked about seeing artists like Jimmy Allen and Chris Lane casually walking nearby. I laughed along with her as the day before Blake Shelton was just steps away from me and if I had known it at the time, my interviews the rest of the day would have been a blur.

Watch our full conversation with Queeva now and get to know this young and talented artist. Be sure to grab her latest single "How Do You Know", and remember to check out her website for all her latest news and updates. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
