CMA Fest 2018 with Missy: The Young Fables

Having the opportunity to meet new artists at events such as CMA Fest is not only exciting but heartwarming as well. Some of these artists are there for the first time, some are releasing new music, and some are seasoned and it is more like a reunion for them to reconnect with friends and heroes.

For the Young Fables, this was Wes and Laurel’s first CMA Fest. Watching the excitement in their eyes was a thrill, however it was our discussion about meeting fans at Fan Fair X that had me laughing. While talking about the items fans bring for artists to sign, we brought up that some fans bring hats, guitars, and even boots for artists to sign. Laura’s reaction was fantastic. Watch our full conversation now to watch the fun unfold.

The Young Fables were also promoting their album Old Songs and the current single off the album titled “Half As Good” during the 4-day country music festival. With performances and scheduled signings with fans, the Young Fables seemed to be having quite a successful first-time experience at the highly anticipated CMA Fest.

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
