CRS 2018 with Missy: Lewis Brice

One of the things I love about country artists is their ability to take real-life situations and turn them into brilliant songs. While some songs are fun, some are touching, and often emotional. When listening to Lewis Brice, I always find myself enjoying the stories within his songs.

During this year's Country Radio Seminar (CRS), I was delighted to have the opportunity to speak with Brice once again about his music and career. Sitting with an ever-present smile on his face, Brice was excited to share the success of his single "Best Ex Ever" off his self-titled EP. Climbing the music row charts and getting airplay on the radio is just one of the small accomplishments in Brice's career.

As we continued our conversation, I asked Brice about an upcoming trip to Mexico. Not realizing that he was headed there to play music for an extremely good cause, I found myself overcome with so much more respect for Brice as not only an artist but a human being. Playing for the Little Yellow School House, Brice beamed with excitement as he recalled his previous experience raising money for this wonderful charity event. Quick to share what they were able to do for these young school children in need of help, Brice was equally thrilled at what these kids did for him. Watch our full conversation to learn more about this heartwarming moment in Brice's career.

With Brice may have a busy schedule from being on the road with Tyler Farr, playing with Granger Smith, and participating in the upcoming Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California, he promises that if he is not out playing music, then he is hard at work making new music for fans. Be sure to stay in the loop by following Brice on social media and checking out his website for all the latest news and updates. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
