Conversations with Missy: The Swon Brothers at Grand Ole' Opry

Since their audition on season four of The Voice, I knew that I would be attending many of The Swon Brothers' "Swoncerts".

Like many other fans, I could see that this phenomenal country duo consisting of brothers Zach and Colton Swon, were going to make it pretty far in the competition. Though they came in 3rd place, The Swon Brothers have continued to thrive in their music career, and have shown fans they are not stopping or slowing down any time soon.

Tour after Tour, these artists have continued to rock every stage they stand on. Sharing the stage with Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are just a two examples of the success the Swon Brothers have achieved in their young career. Fans travel great distances just to see their "favorite boys" perform. Throughout their successful career, Zach and Colton Swon have continued to show us all that they will remain true to who they as they continue to show gratitude to their fans and supporters for each of their accomplishments.

I always look forward to attending a "Swoncert" and bringing my children along, as they love their boys too. Zach and Colton are unique performers. Not only do they have amazing harmonies, they have more heart than most. Watching them interact with their fans is always fun, but they always go a step further to make them feel special. The interactions they have with their young fans is touching and warms the heart. For years to come, the fans they interact with will hold those special moments dear to them. From singing with them on stage, chatting with them after a show, or giving them a guitar during the show, these memories last a lifetime.

I recently had the opportunity to chat with the guys inside their green room at the Grand Ole' Opry. This was a special day for them, as it was also their EP, Pretty Cool Scars, release day. We discussed their new release and their newest single "Don't Call Me". Watch our conversation now to learn what they did to make one fans dream come true that night. It was a very special night indeed.

For those of you who have not yet gotten familiar with The Swon Brothers, I urge you to do so now. These two extremely talented artists will no doubt entertain and move you. Their passion for their craft shines through each of their songs, and some have the power to bring you to your knees with tears in your eyes. I cannot say enough positive things about Zach and Colton Swon. They are the brothers you never had but always wanted, the friends that know how to make you smile on a rotten day, and the ones who remind you every day that you are special and loved. They are real. They are funny. They are talented. Most importantly, they are waiting to see you at one of their shows.

Follow them on social media now, and remember to download their latest release, Pretty Cool Scars. See you at the next "Swoncert". ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
