Conversations with Missy: Shari Rowe Revisited

by Missy Wolf / 2800 days ago / Comments

Welcome to the 200th episode of Conversations with Missy. I am so happy that not only have we come this far in such a short time, but getting to finally meet Shari Rowe in person was beyond exciting. I have been watching this fantastic artist do some pretty spectacular things.

One of the things that sticks out to me the most is her heart. Rowe has started a kindness campaign using #TakeThatShot. Inspired from her new single "Take That Shot", Rowe decided it was time to use her platform to spread kindness to everyone. Whether it is paying for someone's coffee, or just helping someone in need, Rowe has started a pay-it-forward movement that is making an impression on communities around the world. Fans from all over have started participating by doing random acts of kindness. They then post pictures with #TakeThatShot and tag 10 friends on their social media pages to get them to do the same thing. This brilliant idea is bringing smiles to everyone involved. Watch our discussion for ideas on ways that you too can be a part of this remarkable movement.

While her current single charts and gains radio play, Rowe is busy writing and recording new music. During her recent trip to Tennessee, Rowe was able to write with several artists including Greg Crowe and Bucky Covington. Watch our full conversation now to hear about those sessions and what we can expect from her for the rest of 2017.

For more information on the kindness campaign, please visit her website and follow her on social media. We want to see those random acts of kindness as well, so make sure you tag us too. The world would be a much better place if we all decided to #TakeThatShot. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
