Conversations with Missy: Christina Chriss

You may recognize her from fronting the band Kaleido along with performing at the Warped Tour and sharing the stage with acts like Aerosmith and Kid Rock, but did you know Christina Chriss has also launched her solo career? I had so many questions for this extremely talented female artist, I could not wait to have a conversation with her.

Her solo debut single "From The Way" featuring Trick Trick, shows a completely different side to Chriss. Known for her rock, pop style in Kaleido, fans may be surprised by her ability to rap. For all Kaleido fans out there, I asked Chriss about her intentions to continue fronting the band. Hear what she had to say about her decision to move forward as a solo artist and what that means for Kaleido's future.

With the finished EP scheduled to be released in Spring, fans are going to see the incredible vocal abilities of Chriss. She is not afraid to be real. Her songwriting is raw, edgy, real and in your face. Chriss leaves it all out in the open, unwavering in her decision to be who she is. Aware that she may not please everyone, she is not going to stop being herself and doing what she loves. That is one of the many great things about her. She is real.
