Imagine growing up in Alaska. For many, that thought seems difficult to imagine. For Rachele Lynae, growing up in the "Great Outdoors" is what made her who she is today. She lived on an island and developed a true love for the ocean. After living in Alaska, Rachele became a resident of Yuba City, Calif.

At the young age of 12, Rachele began writing songs. She explained why her parents wanted her to learn to read music. Her love of music continued to flourish. At 16, she began playing professional shows. Rachele then began touring at 17. We then spoke about what it was like touring at that age. Listen as she recalls what her friends would say to her during those times.

Rachele Lynae is a very focused and driven artist. She has been involved with every aspect in creating her music. We spoke about co-producing with Jamie O'Neal and what she has learned from her. Rachele's musical style for her newest single Quicksand is extraordinary. Listen to our full conversation to hear who her influences are, and how that led to this unique approach.

CMT premiered the video for Quicksand and will be continuing to play it three times a day for the next five weeks. It is gaining a lot of momentum and turning the heads of many. American Idol fans will be in for a special treat too. Spencer Lloyd (American Idol Top Contestant) stars in the video and gives an amazing performance.

Center Stage Magazine will be attending an Industry Showcase by "in2une" tonight (January 21, 2016) at the Hard Rock in Nashville to capture Rachel Lynae's LIVE performance of Quicksand. Stay tuned for more coverage on this very talented female artist. 2016 is going to be a great year for Rachele. Be sure to listen to our full conversation to hear why! Trust me, you will want to listen right up to the end! ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
