On January 21, 2016, Center Stage Magazine was invited to cover the in2une Nashville Showcase at the Hard Rock Cafe. This showcase featured Backroad Anthem, Farewell Angelina, Rachele Lynae and Matt Gary. As you will see in our video, these artists know how to entertain a crowd. Their styles are different, but their level of talent is equally superb.

Kicking off the night was Backroad Anthem. As many of you know, former lead vocalist, Craig Strickland, recently lost his life during a hunting trip with his friend. Collectively the band decided to press forward without Strickland and continue This was their first performance since the tragic loss of their comrade. To honor his memory, they started their set with a somber cover of Vince Gill's "Go Rest High On That Mountain."

Following Backroad Anthem was Farewell Angelina. Performing with a unique sound, they delivered a captivating cover of Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive." Next, they paid tribute to their fathers and all fathers around the world with a new song titled "American Fathers". They continued their set with their latest single (due out this Friday, January 29, 2016), "Hillbilly 401k."

Continuing the entertainment was Rachele Lynae. As some of you may know, we caught up with Rachele in a recent interview and spoke about her newest single "Quicksand." Her performance of this song left us stunned in a great way. Not only does this artist have a powerful vocal ability, she can rap too. During the middle of her performance, she transitioned flawlessly into and out of "No Diggity" by Blackstreet. It was a welcomed surprise and had the audience entranced.

Ending the night was Matt Gary. Gary has a stage presence that is reminiscent of Luke Bryan and Ty Herndon combined. His looks, energy, charm and personality won the crowd over. He closed out his set with his new single "It's On You."

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
