Billy Dawson: A Writer A Singer A Humanitarian

Let me introduce you to Billy Dawson. Not only is he a country music artist, he is also a songwriter, entertainer, motivational speaker and author. He is definitely a man of many talents. Aside from all of that he has the kindest heart. He is a true Hero to many that know him. He is a real "Star". 

In 2010 Billy Dawson won the "Get Discovered" National Competition, and was featured on the Jerry Lewis MDA Marathon live in Las Vegas. More recently He was awarded Artist of the Year, Best Country Male Vocalist and Best Country Live Performance by the Nashville Independent Awards. He performed at the Thanksgiving Day Game for the Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles, as well as several other stadium shows for sports events.

Dawson has played with many big name artists including Lee Brice, Lady Antebellum, One Republic, Thompson Square, Toby Keith, Colt Ford, Craig Morgan and many more. Currently Billy is hitting the road pretty hard touring and his latest album is expected to release sometime in the near future. 

In 2014 Billy wrote the theme song "Born to Lead" for the CBS Sports Network Lombardi Awards. He has been a part of several charity events including the Pat and Emmitt Smith Charities Celebrity Golf Tournament. Other celebrities who took part in this event were; Darius Rucker, Marcus Allen and Michael Irvin to name a few.

Billy Dawson has used his gift of writing to also create a children's book about bullying, racism, and those suffering with disabilities and other life challenges. His book is titled, "You Never Know". It is currently available on Amazon.com and debuted as a best seller. The release of this book has led Billy to speak at several schools becoming the hero that so many students and teachers admire. Having had the pleasure of Speaking with Billy, I can tell you that this artist is one who truly puts others ahead of himself.
