VIDEO PREMIERE OF EVERYTHING'S GONNA BE ALRIGHT

Written by Steve Wariner and Bill LaBounty

"This song is important to me and I feel like it brings me full circle. I went to Nashville as a naive kid and ended up a victim in what became known as the Murder on Music Row. Thirty-four years after that horrible night-- I'm still here. I'm still singing and I still love Country Music with a passion that only God can put in your heart. This song has an upbeat and happy feel about it. Sometimes we need a reminder that "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" and that's what this song does for me....and I hope that it does the same thing for every one of my listeners." ~ Sammy Sadler

MORE ABOUT SAMMY SADLER

Sammy Sadler is a talented country music artist with a heartwarming story of perseverance, faith, and resilience. Born on August 23, 1966, in Memphis, Tennessee, Sadler grew up in a small town called Leonard (TX), where he developed a passion for music at an early age. Inspired by the likes of George Jones, Hank Williams, and Merle Haggard, Sadler started writing his own songs and performing in local bars and clubs.

After high school, Sadler moved to Nashville, Tennessee, the heart of country music, to pursue his dream of becoming a professional musician. He started playing in honky-tonks and dive bars, honing his skills as a songwriter and performer. In 1988, he landed a job as a songwriter for Evergreen Records and began writing songs for other country music artists.

However, Sadler's life took a tragic turn on March 9, 1989, when he was shot twice in the head and left for dead by a hitman outside a Nashville recording studio. His friend and fellow musician, Kevin Hughes, was killed in the attack. Sadler miraculously survived but had to undergo several surgeries and years of therapy to recover from his injuries.

Despite the trauma and physical challenges he faced, Sadler never lost his passion for music. In fact, his experience inspired him to write a powerful song called "I'll Always Have You" about the importance of love and faith in overcoming adversity. The song became a hit and reached the top 40 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.

Sadler's resilience and perseverance earned him the respect and admiration of the country music community. He continued to write and perform, releasing several albums throughout the 1990s and 2000s. His music is known for its honest lyrics, catchy melodies, and traditional country sound.

In addition to his music career, Sadler is also a motivational speaker and advocate for victims of violent crime. He has spoken at schools, churches, and prisons, sharing his story of survival and encouraging others to never give up hope.

Today, Sammy Sadler continues to write, perform, and inspire others with his music and message of hope. He remains a beloved figure in the country music community and a shining example of strength and resilience in the face of adversity.

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
