Conversations with Missy: Spencer Crandall Takes On Nashville
During this year's Country Music Festival in Nashville, Tennessee, I finally got to have a long-overdue conversation with country artist Spencer Crandall.
From our first interview in 2016 at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, California, to our recent CMA Fest interview inside Music City Center, Crandall was all smiles as he shared what he has been up to. Crandall discussed several things with me such as the process of creating new music, attending CMA Fest, his friendship with fellow artist Tyler Rich, and even some twitter trouble.
In addition to putting out new music for fans, Crandall has taken on some new challenges such as creating VLOGS in an effort to keep his fans entertained as well as to keep growing as an artist. Crandall shared his overall experience putting the VLOGS out and admits he had to dive in to learn how to edit videos which have only helped him grow in the long run.
While talking about his friendship with Rich, Crandall smiled as he shared how proud he is of his friend and how much his career has grown. He then joked that it would be great if Rich would actually cut one the songs that he has on hold of Crandall's. Of course, I too had to join in on the request.
Crandall's latest album More showcases his continuous growth as an artist and definitely needs to be added to everyone's playlist. From his writing to his stage performance, Crandall has continued to sharpen his skills, leaving his fans and industry peers eager to hear and see what comes next. If you are not yet following Crandall on social media, please take a moment now to give his pages a like and follow. Though he cannot be found on twitter at the moment, you can easily find him on all other platforms. Be sure to head over to his website as well for all the latest news and updates. ~Missy
