by Missy Wolf / 1722 days ago / Comments

First Time CMA Fest performer Kaylee Rose was all smiles as she sat with me for our on-camera conversation inside the media room at Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee, during this year's Country Music Festival.

Rose was surprised by her adoring fans and was even presented with a rose during her meet and greet immediately after her performance on the Spotlight Stage at Fan Fair X. Rose beamed with excitement as she shared that many of her fans even brought pictures they had printed for her to sign, making her first artist appearance at CMA Fest 2019 a memorable one.

As we continued our conversation, Rose shared the story behind her extremely relatable song "Stuff", and why she wanted to create it. Being able to capture real emotion and inspiration from important people in her life in order to create beautifully written lyrics is a skill that every good songwriter possesses. Rose showcases those skills perfectly in "Stuff" and has left fans eager to hear what comes next.

If you are new to Rose and her music, please follow her on social media now. Keep your eyes on this vibrant artist as she is definitely an artist to watch in 2019. Also, be sure to grab a copy of "Stuff" and head over to her website for all of the latest news and updates. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
