CMA Fest 2019 with Missy: Swon Brothers

by Missy Wolf / 1745 days ago / Comments

From the beginning of my career as a music journalist, I have been blessed with many opportunities to interview artists that I admire. Though I have been afforded several hundred interviews to date, there are only a few that hold a special title such as my "first official on-camera interview in California". I was absolutely surprised that I was granted an interview with The Swon Brothers just hours before they took the stage.

As their career has continued to progress, both Zach and Colton Swon have been extremely generous with their time and have allowed me to follow their journey with the continuation of on-camera conversations. These are the moments that I am most grateful for and are the very reason why I love what I am able to do.

When The Swon Brothers are on my schedule of interviews, I know that I am in for quite a few laughs. Our conversation during this year's Country Music Festival definitely did not disappoint. The relationship between these two brothers often brings an abundance of smiles and infectious laughter to their fans, and our CMA Fest interview was no exception.

In addition to the brotherly love and laughter, Zach and Colton were able to reveal some exciting news with their former coach from the hit TV series The Voice, Blake Shelton. As a fan and someone who has come to know these two incredibly talented artists, I teared up when I was first alerted to the duo's news. Full circle moments in life are definitely ones worth celebrating. Watch our full conversation now to join in on our fun and excitement.

If you are not yet following The Swon Brothers, please do yourself a huge favor and follow them at the links below. While you are at it, be sure to grab their music and check out their tour schedule. This is one show you must attend. One more thing, remember to share these guys with your friends too. They will absolutely thank you for it. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
