It is no secret that people enjoy laughter. In our often times challenging lives, finding laughter can seem difficult. Thankfully, comedians like Jeff Allen have found a way to combine real-life moments with brutally honest comedy.

As I sat with Allen for our on-camera conversation, I was not sure what I was going to get. Knowing that I very rarely pick up on jokes when they are tossed my direction during any given interview, I was nervous that our conversation was going to be a bit rough or awkward.

Thankfully, I was completely wrong. Allen was not only entertaining and funny, but he was also open and honest about life and all the trials that go along with it. While we all have a bit of difficulty in life from time to time, Allen shares his experiences in such a way that the audience cannot help but laugh as they relate to many of the same dilemmas. Though we may not have found these situations funny at the time, recalling them as we listen to Allen's stories makes them hilarious. 

From Marriage, family, kids in the military, health, millennials, conflict, and menopause, Allen shares it all. It is as if there is nothing off topic and everything has a place in comedy. That is, at least Allen has a way of making it all work during his shows.
