CRS 2018 with Missy: Tenille Arts

by Missy Wolf / 2479 days ago / Comments

Continuing our coverage of CRS 2018 today is the very vibrant and successful up and coming artist Tenille Arts. Suited with a name that fits her career perfectly, Arts has found herself in the small but very big town of Nashville, Tennessee living out her dreams.

As a young girl growing up in Canada, Arts found a desire at 8 years old to perform music. As we sat and discussed how she decided to pursue a career in music at this year's Country Radio Seminar, Arts explained that like many young stars, she began performing everywhere she could and also had her own YouTube channel, though it was a trip to Nashville at 15 years old that fully captivated this young female artist. We laughed as we joked that this town does seem to have that effect on most people.

While Arts has decided to take a leap of faith and make the big move to Nashville, leaving behind her family and friends, she has remained focused with the intention of making those who love her proud. With the recent performance of her single "Moment Of Weakness" on the hit reality series, The Bachelor, I would say Arts is definitely making her loved ones extremely proud. Though the move to Nashville may have been a bit tough in the beginning, Arts is proving that she has what it takes to make it in the harsh world known as the "music industry", and will no doubt continue to thrive.

After the original release of her album Rebel Child, Arts has decided to follow it up with the release of a deluxe edition of the album that will include a romantic version of "Moment Of Weakness", along with a beautiful cover of "Black Velvet". Admitting that I had only recently discovered that the song was actually about the one and only Elvis Presley, Arts confirmed that she too learned more about the song after diving into the lyrics.

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
