CRS 2018 with Missy: Sara Spicer
Sara Spicer may be the "New Girl" in town, however, she is taking Nashville by storm. With the release of her EP New Girl, Spicer has shown everyone that she has got what it takes to be a country music star.
As a young 4-year-old girl, Spicer's father saw her musical abilities and helped guide her career. With a strong musical influence within her family, it was not long before Spicer was turning heads and opening for Tanya Tucker. A few short years after that performance and with some encouragement from her father, Spicer formed her own band at just 16 years old.
Since then, Spicer has had the privilege of touring with the Highway Women and is now focused on her solo career. Her latest single "Jump" is one that tells her story. We all have that one story that is our "Jump" story, so this song is extremely relatable to the listeners. As Spicer explained the concept for the accompanying music video for "Jump" during CRS 2018, I knew immediately that the audience reach for this will be virtually endless as it covers so many life stories/scenarios. Each of the stories portrayed in the music video can easily be applied to yourself or someone you know.
Signed with HH Entertainment Company, Spicer has been working hard writing and creating new music for fans. Be sure to follow her on social media and check out her website for news and updates, and do not forget to grab a copy of her EP New Girl.
I absolutely enjoyed speaking to this vibrant and fun-loving artist that is a fellow "newbie" to the amazing small world of Nashville. Please watch our full conversation now to get to know this lovely singer/songwriter a little more. ~Missy
