A few years ago, Austin Shaw took a summer vacation from his demanding work in high finance in NYC to visit his sister in California’s Bay Area. He surfed, he hiked and he rediscovered his desire to create music. So, he called up his boss in Manhattan and gave notice, packed up, and moved to Santa Cruz. CA. Now, the songwriter and singers journey is coming full circle, he was voted 'Best Local Musician in Santa Cruz, CA' by Good Times Magazine and he recently released of his debut full-length album Felt. Shaw’s songwriting dives deep into the human spirit and the complex layers of intricate songwriting craft shine through with every note. Today, Austin is kicking off his “Live Series,” featuring live performances from FELT. Today we premiere the video for the song “I’ve Been Leaning.”
