Desert Okie Strong For Chad Trout : Danielle Peck

by Missy Wolf / 2610 days ago / Comments

Continuing our coverage of Desert Okie Strong For Chad Trout is the one and only Danielle Peck. A little jazzy, a little bluesy, country, and completely captivating, Peck had fans eating out of her palms during her performance alongside the extremely talented Julie Roberts and Shelly Fairchild while raising much-needed funds for Chad Trout's fight against Pancreatic Cancer.

Taking part in the event for longtime friend Trout while performing with longtime friends Roberts, Fairchild, Jaime Fox and Shannon Mock, Peck was all smiles as she spoke with me after her performance. Knowing the importance of showing support for causes like PANCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network), there was no question that she was going to show her support for Trout by taking the stage in his honor.

Fans were in for a fantastic night of music as all these talented friends sang, joked, and treated the entire crowd like they were sitting in their living room taking part in a fun-filled jam session. These moments are the ones fans remember for a lifetime. Knowing the event was also live-streamed, Peck and her friends had fun sharing stories with fans and setting the record straight on the story behind certain songs. There was a lot of laughter throughout this successful night of music, and a good time was had by all.

As Peck and I sat backstage for our interview, it was clear to see the love in her heart for her friends. Knowing she felt grateful and blessed to be a part of this event, I could not help but feel proud to capture the amount of love for Trout displayed on that stage. This was truly an incredible evening for the artists and the fans alike.

To learn more about Peck and all she has coming up, please visit her website and social media. Do not forget to head over to www.desertokies.com to grab a copy of their album to support Trout as 100% of the proceeds from album sales go directly to his medical treatments. Remember, Christmas is just around the corner and the gift of music is one of the greatest gifts you can give. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
