Desert Okie Strong For Chad Trout : Julie Roberts

As we continue our coverage of the Desert Okie Strong For Chad Trout benefit concert, we sat down with Stunning vocalist Julie Roberts.

Roberts immediately expressed her desire to continue to help Chad Trout through his journey with fighting cancer. Lending her voice at the benefit concert may not seem like a big deal to her, however, we all know that it means the world to Trout that despite having a busy schedule, artists such as Roberts have stepped up to support a fellow musician.

Roberts not only possesses a beautiful voice, she has been blessed with a loving and kind soul. Having an understanding of medical needs while living with MS, Roberts shared with us all that the benefit concert was just one of the ways people could help out. She reminded us that Trout's journey is going to continue and his need for support will continue as well.

The music community continues to shine brightly as they always come together to help their fellow artists in need. Please join us to help support Trout. Visit www.desertokies.com and grab a copy of their album for yourself and one for a loved one as well. Show the music community that you have joined the fight in support of their very own family member. The Trout family and their friends have been so blessed by all the love and support shown thus far. Keep it going by sharing this article as well.

For more information on Roberts and all she has coming up, please visit her website and follow her on social media. Be on the lookout for her upcoming Memoir through HarperCollins and new music produced by Shooter Jennings. She is also continuing her fundraising efforts for those fighting MS (www.msfocus.org) so stay tuned to her website for the latest news and updates. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
