Conversations with Missy: Indigo Summer

Often times, I am sent information on an artist from one of the many PR companies that we work with. As with all artists, I spend time researching them and listening to their work, reading their story, and getting to know them before we actually meet. Hope and Bryan of Indigo Summer is a country duo that I was introduced to through Aristo PR. 

As soon as I heard their latest single "A1a", I could not wait to share these artists with Center Stage Magazine Co-Founder, Tommy Lemon. The immediate response from Lemon was that we needed to schedule an interview with this extremely talented pair. I agreed, though making our schedules work proved challenging at first. Thankfully, Aristo Staff was able to work some magic and make this happen.

As soon as we arrived at Aristo's office, the country duo was wrapping up an earlier scheduled interview. I knew at that moment that I was going to have a lot of fun with these two. Their energy and chemistry together shines brilliantly and is the perfect compliment to their combined vocals and lyrical style. Overall, they make the viewer/listener feel excited, happy, and ready for a good time.

During our conversation, we shared some laughs as we discussed the weather, booties, and hoodies. I never know where a conversation will lead, and Indigo Summer did not seem to mind at all. We discussed their music video for "A1a" and whose concept it was, along with the support of their family and friends during filming. We talked about how they met and found their name and some of their music goals. 

After hearing how excited they would be to work with Gath Brooks and Shania Twain, I instantly recalled the day's earlier announcement that Brooks would be playing at Stagecoach in Indio, California. I, for one, would love to see this duo up on the main stage at the 2018 Stagecoach Festival. I know that the fans there would agree with me. Indigo Summer is a band that excites, thrills, and gives fans a good time.
