Tap Into Indie: Tyler Jordan CMA Fest 2017
One thing I can always count on during CMA Fest is the level of excitement among fans and artists. This highly anticipated event brings tens of thousands of fans to Nashville, Tennessee each year. This festival is extra special for Independent Artists as it gives them the opportunity to meet many new fans that have not heard their music before, in turn, making them a new fan.
As we sat backstage at Alley Taps for our interview after his performance at the Heart Songs Corporation and Center Stage Magazine Independent Artist Showcase, Tyler Jordan happily spoke about his experience at country music's biggest festival. Complete with a genuine smile on his face, Jordan happily shared some memorable moments he had with fans at Fan Fair X. One of those moments included a young girl that was so happy to meet Jordan that her hand was shaking. Those are the memories that will remain for years to come.
As we continued discussing the importance of fans, Jordan was quick to show his appreciation for each of them, knowing that they are the reason he is here. The fans are in fact the reason why he is doing what he loves. Jordan is definitely in this business for the right reasons, making great music for the fans.
Jordan is continuing his musical journey with Silverado Records. After explaining to me that he spent many years as a song writer and developed a relationship with the record company before signing with them, showed me that Jordan has taken his career choices very seriously. Knowing some of the staff at Silverado Records, I am confident that Jordan is in great hands. You can find Jordan's current single "Girl" on the Silverado Records compilation album Summer On Repeat. He will be releasing a debut EP in the near future, so be on the lookout for that.
If you have not yet followed Jordan on social media, please do so now. He is a great artist and wants to get to know his fans. Make sure you send him a shout out and tell him that I sent you. ~Missy
