About Josh Thompson:

Born to a hard-working Wisconsin concrete worker in the small town of Cedarburg, country hitmaker Josh Thompson changed his path from his blue-collar raising to destined country stardom when he picked up a guitar at the age of 21. Soon playing anthems from legends such as George Jones, Merle Haggard, and Hank Senior, Thompson found a passion in performing and wrote his first song just six months later. Making a "name in this town" shortly after moving to Nashville in 2005, the singer-songwriter signed his first publishing deal just one month later and soon released his debut album, Way Out Here. With his first two singles, "Beer on the Table" and "Way Out Here" grossing almost one million downloads, Thompson's songs have since been cut by several country music mainstays, including artists such as Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, Gary Allan, Darius Rucker, Justin Moore, and Joe Nichols. Recently gaining media attention for co-writing Jason Aldean's current #1 hit single, "Any Ol' Bar Stool," Thompson's upcoming release of Change: The Lost Record is set for Friday, April 21. About Laura Lou

Laura Lou Journalist

Beginning about age 13, music always been my “safe place”, my “escape”, it became a part of who I am. My background includes being a photographer/journalist for newspapers, magazines and radio stations and more recently I have been an artist manager. What I continue to strive to learn is, what is important to the fans/readers? I find that the answer is always that they want to feel close to the artist they are supporting. The human contact that we all need is something that I want to deliver to anyone that happens to read something I write or see a photograph I shoot. It is important to me to provide that experience, because I am, after all, still always a “fan” and that giddy 13-year-old girl is simply amazed! I never imagined that my passion and love for music would lead me where I am today! I use the hashtag #iamtheluckiestgirliknow because I cannot believe how blessed I am! I’m excited to see “what happens next” and take you all along with me! This is going to be amazing…
