Conversation with Missy: Silverdrive35

by Missy Wolf / 2860 days ago / Comments

When I was first introduced to Silverdrive35, I was not sure what to expect. After listening to their current single "Those Days", I realized that this country rock duo from Sweden was special.

I went on the listen to their first single "Bleeding Heart". After it was over, I knew I wanted to interview them. Carl Fredrik and Eli Stream happily agreed to the interview. The next thing I knew, we were chatting on twitter and via email to prepare for our video conversation via Skype.

I realized they were serious about wanting to prepare for the interview when they asked me for a sample of questions. What I did not consider is the reason they needed to prepare. When they explained it to me on camera, I could not help but laugh. We all did. These two artists have such great personalities. I immediately adored them.

Being that I never know what to expect during an interview, it is no surprise to me when something exciting happens. During our conversation, both Stream and Fredrik discovered something new about each other. I could not help but feel proud, as I was a part of such a great discovery.

Our conversation seemed to fly by and before we knew it, 30 minutes passed. We shared our musical influences, spoke about musical differences and laughed a lot. Watch our conversation now to find out which one of these guys was influenced by Richie Sambora and his album Undiscovered Soul, and find out which one tried to buy a guitar from Guns n Roses' Gilby Clarke.

There is so much passion in these two talented artists. We will be following them on their journey and continue to bring you the latest news they have to share. They also promised to be a part of a Shenanigans with Missy episode, so I will be holding them to it. As always, please follow this fantastic duo on social media and share their music with your friends. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
