Our next CMA Fest Artist Spotlight is the amazingly fun and extremely patient Don Gates. You may remember the interview we did not too long ago that was completed on our third attempt to record it. No, I will never live this down. I am ok with that as it is a fun memory.
I am happy to report that this time we were able to capture this conversation in one take. Gates was joined by his full band with me backstage at Alley Taps. I was delighted to be able to talk to the entire band. I knew we were in for a good time.
Without giving away too much of the fun we had, I can tell you that we talked about banana hammocks, flying bugs, good times, red neck family connections and more. I love this crazy group of individuals and look forward to seeing ore of them in the future.
