Conversations with Missy: Ed Roman

by Missy Wolf / 2880 days ago / Comments

I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Canadian music artist Ed Roman. I had so many things I wanted to cover with him though our conversation went in a completely different direction. I am very happy that it did.

Roman and I spoke in depth about his humanitarian efforts in Jamaica and the time he has spent in the beautiful country. The relationships he has built there have become extremely important to him and have even led to him and his wife to becoming God Parents to a special little girl.

While in Jamaica, Roman shot a music video that captured the beauty and culture of the island. Listen to our full conversation to hear all about his experience recording music there along with where he stayed and who owns the property.

Roman has a personality that is infectious. As I was flipping through his pictures online, I came across one that immediately made me smile. I am so glad I asked about it. The story behind that photo was stunning as it involved an abandoned property, a senator and trunks full of interesting things. Are you curious? You have to listen now.

Having a passion for helping others, it is no wonder why Roman has teamed up with Heart Songs for Veterans with his song “Lay One Down.” Center Stage Magazine loves this organization and we have become great friends and partners with Founder Jill Pavel. Roman and I spoke about how he became involved with this great cause and what this cause does for so many.

With his new album Red Omen, due to release on June 7, Roman will be raising eyebrows and gaining more fans. "I Am Love" is the first single and video to be featured on this new album. His ability to blend rock, pop, folk and country will cause you to groove along to every song. He has his own unique sound and combined with his entertaining personality, will leave you wanting more. Follow Roman on social media and listen to our conversation now. You will be glad you did. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
