New Release: Bill Leverty of FireHouse Releases New Single
Have you ever been fascinated with someone so much that you needed to know more about them? That is how I was before speaking with Bill Leverty. After reading his biography and researching him, I became so intrigued with how his mind works that I absolutely needed to know more about him.
From the moment Bill called me I was immediately captivated. His voice and personality are both enchanting. His sense of humor was apparent right away and led to one of the most comfortable conversations I have ever had. There is nothing better for an interviewer than to feel at ease with the artist you are speaking to that has thousands and thousands of fans, along with stories that make your inner fan go crazy.
Bill shared some of those amazing stories with me about other stars and artists he has met along the way such as Tom Green and Mark Harmon. Though it was the story of his connection to Bon Jovi that surprised me the most. It started with a picture I noticed in his gallery on his website. I asked him about it and was not at all prepared for what followed. Listen to our full conversation for all the details.
Although Bill may have started out as a guitarist in the band formerly know as White Heat (before changing it to Firehouse), his vocal abilities could not stay hid from the world. His vocal debut was on their 7th album, O2, in the song "I'm In Love This Time". His current single "Strong" showcases his strong vocals as well as his stellar guitar playing. I was given another surprise when Bill shared with me that the video for "Strong" also showcases his wife's filming abilities. She is equally as talented and putting their efforts together is pure magic. Be sure to watch his videos after listening to our awesome conversation!
As the guitarist for Firehouse alongside his solo career, Bill Leverty has seen and experienced a lot in the music world. While working with producers and other artists, Bill has learned so many aspects of putting together an album that he now offers his services to those that need them. As you will hear in our conversation, Bill has taken his talent and creativity and offered them to others in unique ways. One of these unique services...guitar lessons via Skype! For me, this is huge. When you live your life watching others forced to be isolated from the outside world you know guitar lessons are out of reach for them. Bill has paved the way for children stuck in the hospital, adults stuck on bed rest and any other person isolated from normal everyday life the chance to take part and learn how to play the guitar from anywhere they are! This is incredible. I am truly honored and blessed that I was given the opportunity to discuss this with Bill.
As a special Thank You from Bill, if you go to his website and donate $1 for his current single, you will receive a special gift from Bill directly! Do not delay, donate NOW! Yes, I have given you the link, so go follow it now provided you have already fully enjoyed our conversation! ~Missy
