While covering the New Nashville series at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, Tennessee, I was given the opportunity to speak with Kasey Tyndall.
I knew that we were in for a fun conversation after finding out some fun information about her. As it turns out, Tyndall herself, is also a Bon Jovi fan. She has been performing "Living On A Prayer" at many of her shows and admits that it is a difficult song to cover. During our conversation, we both realized we were just at the same Bon Jovi concert, held at the Bridgestone Arena here in Nashville. Beaming with excitement, Tyndall was very proud of the fact that Bon Jovi also broke the attendance record during that particular show. We laughed and immediately bonded over our mutual love of the greatest rock band.
Tyndall is definitely an artist that has the gift of writing great songs. It is no wonder that she has signed a new publishing deal with Sony ATV. Though her single, "Everything Is Texas", was written after a break up, she smiled as she explained that she got a great song out of it. She is right. The fans love it. When fans are able to connect to an artist on a real level, they tend to remain loyal. This is proving true for Tyndall and her fans as they stay connected to her though social media.
We then discussed the benefits of social media to her career as well. Some artists get very involved with social media fan interaction, and I was curious to know if she recognized any of the fans that came to her shows. I was thrilled when she explained that after reading comments from fans that they would be seeing her at a certain show, Tyndall would actually look out into the crowds and find some of them. This is one of those situations that I often hear many questions about. Fans are always curious to know if they are remembered. The answer folks is, "Yes".
Please watch our fun conversation now, and then follow Tyndall on all her social media platforms. Do not forget to grab a copy of her latest single "Everything Is Texas", and be sure to stay tuned for all she has coming up in the future. ~Missy
