Press Release: Ana Cristina Cash Releases The Tough Love EP; Part I of Future LP Out this Summer
We are kicking off our continuing coverage of this year's Country Radio Seminar with the fascinating, multi-genre, female vocalist, Ana Cristina Cash. Growing up in Miami, Cash shared that because she is Cuban-American, her bilingual and vocal abilities landed her a spot on the longest-running variety show on Univision called Sábado Gigante (Giant Saturday) from the age of 6 to 13.
Cash was later asked to sign with Sony Latin at the age of 15 and was then able to record and release music all over Latin America. Having moved to Los Angeles from Miami, Cash wanted to sing in English which led her to record The West Coast Sessions that released May 12, 2015.
From her successful past and her bilingual abilities, Cash has also earned the opportunity to be the first Hispanic American to perform the "Star Bangled Banner" at the presidential inauguration in 2005 as well as then being invited to the White House in 2006 to be a part of Hispanic Heritage Week.
Needless to say, Cash has had an extremely successful music career thus far. Adding to those successful experiences is the highly sought after Grand Ole Opry debut. Getting to play the Opry is a common goal/dream for many musicians. Luckily for Cash, she will have the opportunity again soon just after the release of her new album Shine.
For more information on Cash, please follow her on social media and do not forget to head over to her website for all the latest news and information. Be sure to watch our full conversation as well and get to know the woman behind the voice that can do it all. ~Missy
