CRS50 with Missy: Charles Parker

by Missy Wolf / 1850 days ago / Comments

This year's Country Radio Seminar was packed with talented musicians and vocalists. From the young, new artists to the well-known, seasoned artists, I spoke with as many of them as I possibly could. Several of the artists attending this year's CRS also had new music that was just released or being released within days/months.

Independent country artist Charles Parker was not only pretty new to the event, he too had brand new music released within days of our conversation. His new album Party Girls & Chicken Wings features his new single "Say Goodbye". Parker was all smiles as he shared what it has been like releasing his new music and having the benefit of creative control as an independent artist.

During our conversation, Parker described his reasons for wanting to take part in the popular Nashville music event. Events such as CRS help independent artists meet radio industry professionals who can help get their music played on stations across the country. Fans can also help independent artists by calling their local radio station to request songs like "Say Goodbye".

If you have not yet followed Parker on social media, please do so now. Get to know this extremely talented and experienced artist now. Watch our full conversation to hear more and be sure to download his latest album Party Girls & Chicken Wings. Do not forget to call your local radio station and request his new music. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
