When you first meet Kate Hasting and Josh Beale of the Kate Hasting Band, the chemistry between the two of them is undeniable.  I, as many others, assumed they were a couple and they were quick to point out that while they are a musical duo, their relationship is definitely more of a brother-sister type instead of anything more.

These two talented musicians have the unique ability to write songs, sharing real-life experiences through music, delivering them with stellar performances.  Watch our interview as we discuss how Josh, who is a Wisconsin native and Kate, an Ohio native, met and made this fusion of talent come to life.

The duo released, Can't Get Enough their newest EP, in October of 2017.  The release was highlighted during a benefit for The Firefighters Behavioral Health Alliance in Nashville, which provides assistance to those service men and women, specifically firefighters, that suffer from PTSD.

The Kate Hasting Band has a lot to be proud of with the success of the music and videos to date, however, this is just beginning for these two as they are very passionate about staying true to their roots and staying grounded in writing and singing what they know. Make sure you head over to their social media pages as well as their website and keep up with what they have coming up.  Do not forget to get your copy of the current EP, Can't Get Enough.

About Laura Lou

Laura Lou Journalist

Beginning about age 13, music always been my “safe place”, my “escape”, it became a part of who I am. My background includes being a photographer/journalist for newspapers, magazines and radio stations and more recently I have been an artist manager. What I continue to strive to learn is, what is important to the fans/readers? I find that the answer is always that they want to feel close to the artist they are supporting. The human contact that we all need is something that I want to deliver to anyone that happens to read something I write or see a photograph I shoot. It is important to me to provide that experience, because I am, after all, still always a “fan” and that giddy 13-year-old girl is simply amazed! I never imagined that my passion and love for music would lead me where I am today! I use the hashtag #iamtheluckiestgirliknow because I cannot believe how blessed I am! I’m excited to see “what happens next” and take you all along with me! This is going to be amazing…
