Conversations with Missy: Lexi Larsen CMA Fest 2017
While being at this year's CMA Fest, I was delighted by a number of interviews I had scheduled with Female Country Artists including the lovely Lexi Larsen. Though that may not be something many consider, it was a noticeable increase to me. We have heard the chirpings from many about the need for more female artists in the industry, so this was exciting for me.
As the numbers rise for female artists in country music, it is safe to say that the overall talent among all country artists is rising too. Larsen is one of the most talented artists I have had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with. Her maturity and experience in the business will no doubt lead her to great places.
Her latest EP Shakin' has definitely left an impression. Fans continue to want more from this gifted vocalist. Working hard on her music and taking her music on the road has been a huge part of Larsen's recipe for success. When I asked Larsen about her favorite place to perform, she was quick to mention Texas and Wyoming. For Larsen, Wyoming is home, so the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore are an added bonus for her. After hearing speak of the beauty in her home state, I think I need to plan a visit soon.
Excited about being at CMA Fest, I wanted to know if Larsen was able to take advantage of any time to see anything herself. She was definitely eager to see one of her favorite male country artists, Eric Church, at Nissan Stadium that same night. Larsen was also thrilled to be able to perform and meet fans. With a smile on her face, excitement and love in her heart, and Durango Boots on her feet, Larsen was ready to take on the rest of CMA Fest.
Please follow this talented young woman on social media now. She is waiting for you. Send her a shout out and be sure to tell her Missy sent you. Also, if you have not yet downloaded her latest EP or watched her videos, you should. As always, I have made it easy for you to connect with this talented female country artist. You are welcome. ~Missy
