Conversations with Missy: Zach Seabaugh
For most high school students their “Senior Year” is one that is full of memorable moments on campus and off. This is the year of prom, senior ditch day, and then graduation. While most students are preparing for those moments while living at home, Zach Seabaugh is finishing high school online while on the road performing his music for fans everywhere.
After turning heads as a contestant on Season 9 of The Voice, Team Blake's Seabaugh has been met with a rapidly increasing number of fans such as Nora Kennedy. Kennedy reached out to Center Stage Magazine to request that I interview Seabaugh. Co-founder Tommy Lemon wasted no time reaching out to Seabaugh and lucky for us he responded quickly.
As many Voice fans know, Seabaugh’s battle-round with Tyler Dickerson singing “I’m Gonna Be Somebody” was thrilling. This was the moment I was blown away by this Brad Paisley meets Hunter Hayes with an Elvis twist artist. This young man sings with an incredibly rich and mature voice. I was in awe the entire performance.
There is no doubt in my mind that Seabaugh is going to have a long standing career in music. Fans love him, girls swoon and everyone is captivated with each stunning performance. This Georgia native has delighted fans with his new original music through the recent release of his self-titled debut EP. He has been writing and working hard to share his work with everyone, so be sure to head over to his website and check it out. Download a copy of his EP now and make sure you connect with him on social media.
Get ready to rock with Seabaugh at this year’s Kicks Country Fair with Lady Antebellum as well. During our conversation, we spoke about all the exciting things coming up for him and more. My favorite part of the conversation was his story about wearing his Grandpa’s “Dog tags” around his neck. Being that I am not a fan of “spoilers”, you have to listen to our conversation for the details. Enjoy. ~Missy
