CMA Fest Artist Spotlight: Highway Women
CMA Fest Artist Spotlight continues with The Highway Women. Abbi Scott, KK Bodiford, Riki Knox and honorary Highway Woman, Courtney Lynn, make up this fantastic group of talented ladies. The amount of talent between them is insane. These ladies are remarkable. They are fun and extremely enchanting.
Starting off CMA Fest by rocking the Hard Rock stage on Broadway, set the tone for the rest of the busy festival. These ladies simply killed it. Playing every day of the festival is not something that all artists are able to do, so this was a sure treat for their fans that traveled from far off places just to see them.
Opening day at Alley Taps is where I first saw the girls perform. Though they did not have the air conditioning working, the girls were determined to put on a good show for their fans. The place was packed and the heat was up. Everyone had a rocking good time.
After their second performance at Alley Taps, I met with the ladies backstage for a quick conversation. Lynn was their featured "Honorary Highway Woman" and she fit in seamlessly. There is a chemistry between them that is simply undeniable and rare in this world. A group of women uplifting each other is what this world needs more of and seems to be part of a growing trend among musicians.
During our conversation, I asked them about the message they wanted to deliver. Listen to what they had to say about that and more by watching our video now. These girls were so humbled by the amount of love and support shown to them by their fans it was touching. I love these ladies and their talent exceeded my expectations.
Follow them on social media, check out their website now and tell them Center Stage Magazine sent you. You will not be sorry. If by chance you find yourself in Nashville and need some hair help, contact Hannah at Sculpted Edge. Thanks for the info Miss Abby Scott, I must see her for a fun on-camera look. ~Missy
