Recently I followed up with Joe Bayer to catch up on everything he has going on in his career. Bayer is a down to earth country boy that has been making quite a name for himself in the music world.
His latest single release “Beyond the Backroads” hit number one on Smokin FM and has grabbed the attention of many. During our conversation, we spoke about Bayer’s radio tour and what it has been like having this single released to radio. Bayer is a very humble man that simply wants to continue doing what he loves, making great music.
When I asked him about what he has coming up, I was not surprised to learn about all the festivals and shows he will be playing this summer. New York, Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin are just a few of the places you will soon be able find Bayer playing a live show. This led me to ask him if he would be at CMA Fest this year. His answer? Bayer and I spoke about one of my favorite places in Nashville, Belcourt Taps. For those of you who have not yet been there, it is a great place to go and see artists perform. They have some of the best food I have ever had and the atmosphere is perfect for a great night of music for the artists and audience alike.
As last year’s winner of “Country Artist of the Year” at the Josie Show Awards Show, I asked him if he would be attending this year’s show as well.
