Conversations with Missy: Blaine Mitchell

How many of you are on the #BlaineTrain? Let me explain what that is for those of you who do not know what I am referring to. Meet Blaine Mitchell. Blaine was a contestant on the current season (9) of The Voice. After his stellar audition with the song, Drops of Jupiter, Blaine landed a spot on Blake Shelton's team. Immediately fans started showing their support and hopped on board the #BlaineTrain!

Blaine may have started on team Blake, but after one of the most intense battle round battles, Blake chose Blind Joe to move forward and before Blaine could get a word out, Adam Levine stole him. It was one of the most amazing moments in the show's history. I, like many other fans, was elated by Adam's decision to steal Blaine. 

It was clear while watching his audition that Blaine was born to be a performer. His stage presence was so natural and inviting. I wanted to know more about him, so I began my research. During our conversation I asked Blaine about being in the band, Treeside, with his brother Brady. Listen to our conversation for more on that.

If being on a hit reality show was not enough, Blaine was blessed to become the husband of one of the most beautiful brides I have seen. Her name is Haylee. She has shown an amazing amount of support for her new husband, and being they got married while he was a part of this show, she had to endure being separated from him while he filmed. The love these two share for one another with the world is simply breathtaking. We spoke a lot about his wedding and how it was being immediately separated from his new bride. I give them both a lot of credit. The example they are to myself and others is remarkable. Thank you both for sharing your undying love with the world!

There is so much more to this gifted artist. He has one of the most beautiful souls. It was such an honor to speak with him. Yes, this was one interview that I was definitely looking forward to.
