Conversations with Missy: Michelle Sussett American Idol Top 14
For those of you who have not been watching this all-new season of American Idol with judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie, you have been missing out. For those of you who have been watching, things are about to heat up.
With the live shows beginning on Sunday, April 22, the top 14 contestants are gearing up to deliver out of the box performances that are sure to entertain you, move you, make you dance, make you scream, bring you to your feet, and make your eyes well up with tears.
As soon as Michelle Sussett sat with me for our conversation, it was easy to see that this talented young female vocalist has one of the most genuine hearts. Her personality simply shines both on stage and off.
During our conversation, we spoke about her journey on American Idol this far including what it has been like to work with the judges, and what it has been like to be away from her family. Sussett was quick to express how much she missed her mother, who is still in Venezuela, though she explained that her mother's encouraging words help motivate her to keep going forward.
