CRS 2018 with Missy: John Schneider

Continuing our coverage of CRS 2018, we sat with one of the Good Ole Boys, John Schneider. Now, I am going to do my best to remain a professional journalist, however, I am still a bit star stuck over getting to meet and have a conversation with my very first on-screen crush. As most of you know, Schneider played Bo Duke on the original tv series, Dukes of Hazzard, however, did you know that Scheider is also an accomplished singer, producer, and much more?

With several movie projects under his belt, owning and operating John Scheider Studios, and working with some of the most talented names in the industry such as Dean Cain, Scheider continues to work hard and give fans all the entertainment they can handle, leaving nothing held back. From acting to singing, producing, hosting extravaganzas, and bringing together some of the greatest voices to record songs such as Waylon Jennings "Good Ol' Boys" featuring Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, Collin Raye, T.G. Sheppard, Bobby Bare, T. Graham Brown, Ray Scott, and so many more, Schneider continues to impress his loyal fans and industry peers.

Schneider is currently working on a project that will have true music fans captivated and thirsting for more.  ASA (Artist Studio Access), is one of the newest projects that Schneider has brought to life.  His concept of bringing fans and musicians together while music is birthed is brilliant. As we spoke about ASA, it was easy to see Scheider's excitement for the work he has been able to do thus far. Watch our full conversation now to understand the full concept of ASA. This is a project I highly recommend watching as it is unlike anything else out there.

Schneider also remains very active in the character that propelled him to fame. His upcoming event Bo's Extravaganza brings Dukes of Hazzard back to life in a huge way.  This event promises to be one that will deliver thrills, stunts, fun, entertainment, fantastic food, local street music, meet and greet opportunities and so much more. With guests such as Tom Wopat signing autographs and a sea of General Lee cars expected to be present, this outdoor event is sure to be one that tops them all. If you are up for joining countless other good ol' boys and girls "never meanin' no harm", consider going as a VIP and take part in an extra day of festivities including a concert by Kix Brooks.

To truly capture the level of talent Schneider possesses, please go to his website and social media pages for more information on where you can find all his previous, current, and upcoming projects. You will be so glad you did. Also, be sure to share this with your friends. They will thank you for it. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
