Music Video Premieres on CMT Artist Discovery

(Nashville, TN -- January 23, 2018) The rising country trio, Maybe April, will debut on CMT's Artist Discovery Initiative today with the premiere of their music video for single,"Last Time".

Maybe April is amongst the first selection of emerging artists to be featured on CMT’s Artist Discovery this year. Directed by Tanner Grandstaff, the emotionally perspective music video is now available for viewing multiple times per day (specifically 9:42 a.m., 6:25 p.m., and 3:25 a.m. CST) on the 24/7 digital music channel CMT Music and on CMT’s website, here.

"We've been patiently waiting for a Maybe April music video," said CMT's SVP of Music Strategy Leslie Fram. "'Last Time' showcases their lush harmonies and intuitive songwriting."

Written by two-thirds of Maybe April, Katy DuBois and Alaina Stacey, "Last Time" appears on their self-titled EP released in 2017. The trio was able to create and produce the music video through their recent Bandtwango campaign.

"This is one of our oldest originals and we are so excited to release the music video for it," said Maybe April. "This music video captures the rollercoaster of emotions you go through in a back-and-forth relationship, the stage of finally overcoming it, and the importance of friendship and supporting each other."

About Maybe April:
Maybe April is a Country/Americana trio made up of Kristen Castro, Katy DuBois (Bishop), and Alaina Stacey. Hailing from Simi Valley, CA, Jonesboro, AR, and Chicago, IL, the three met in the summer of 2012 at a music industry camp in Nashville where they co-wrote a song that would later take them to Los Angeles to perform at a week-long GRAMMY event featuring Bonnie Raitt, Kris Kristofferson, Allen Shamblin, Gavin DeGraw, J.D. Souther, Joy Williams from the Civil Wars, and many others. Amongst hundreds of shows nationwide, Maybe April has opened for Brandy Clark and Sarah Jarosz as well as performed at Pilgrimage Music Festival and IBMA's Wide Open Bluegrass Festival. Maybe April is recognized for their three-part harmonies, strength as instrumentalists, original songwriting, and shared roles as front-women---individually adding something different from their musical backgrounds to create their distinctively unique sound. Just like their harmonies, Kristen, Katy, and Alaina are a perfect blend. Their love for each other and their music continuously inspires their career endeavors. They are currently based in Nashville, TN.
