Imagine being great at baseball and music and having to choose just one. Could you choose between two things you are passionate about? That is exactly what Casey Derhak had to do. His choice was music.

Derhak has an interesting beginning. Being born at an airforce base intrigued me. I wanted to know more. Was he a military brat? Did he have to move a lot? The answer he gave me is not one I expected and frankly was very cool. Listen to our conversation to hear him explain it all.

Coming from a family of talent, it seemed a fitting choice that Derhak pursued music. Listen as he explains his families' influence on him and the reasons he chose music over baseball. Derhak claims he only wanted to do two things in life, play baseball and make music. Watching his friends in the minor leagues, Derhak was able to see that he would not be in complete control of his career if he chose baseball. We spoke about his reasons, but after watching his videos I am convinced music, hands down had to be his choice.
